Here’s a great breakdown of what the PROTECT-IP Act is all about.

There’s still a lot of people out there who haven’t made the call. Either you think it’s too much work (it’s not), you think it’ll handle itself without your help  (it won’t), that the bill isn’t that bad (it is) or that it will actually protect the entertainment industry from piracy and copyright violations (nope). 

If you fall into the last two categories, watch this video for a good four minute breakdown of what’s really going on. If you just can’t be arsed to call your representative, suck it up and do it. There’s a lot of potential for a lot of destruction with this thing, and we can only hold it back with the power of numbers, and our voices. This is not a good time for inaction.
