Just wanted to raise another big “fuck you” to all the folks holding us back from universal healthcare. I hurt myself pretty badly on Sunday, and now I can’t raise my arm above chest level. Going to a doctor or hospital for imaging or a diagnosis would be insanely expensive, to the point where it’s out of the question.

Instead, I’m taping it together and hoping for the best. Hopefully I’ll be able to carry gear and hold a camera in time for my next job. Being a freelancer or small business owner in our fine country has its challenges.
