1. Not Sure When This Happened

    Sometime in the last few months, google enabled voicemail forwarding from your regular phone number to your (incredible) Google Voice voicemail box.

    Inside Google Voice, go to “settings” > and click “activate Google voicemail on this phone” next to the number that you want awesome voicemail on. Google will give you a code to punch into your cellphone, and all voicemails left on your number will bypass your normal system and go over to Google voicemail.

    The person leaving the message notices no difference, and you get the benefits of transcribed voicemails and sms/email alerts. I had been hoping for this feature since I started using GV, and I’m stoked that it actually exists.
